This pine box, shaped like a pen box, contains a varnished wooden nib holder, five writing nibs and a bottle of Eclat de saphir ink (30ml), one of the oldest inks created by Jacques Herbin. A leaflet explains the history of Jacques Herbin ink. The Ecolière nib is a fine, fairly hard nib for drawing, writing and calligraphy. The Sténo nib is a sharp, scalloped nib made from blued steel that is ideal for English. The Pfannen and Rose nibs are made of hard steel and are designed for scripte (stick writing), as is the Cito-fein nib, a hollow reservoir nib. An ideal set for pen and ink lovers! Made in France.
