Jacques Herbin's writing inks, made in France, are recognized worldwide for their high quality. Today, Jacques Herbin has a palette, called La Perle des encres, of 35 colors. They are available in bottles of different sizes and in cartridges. The poetic names of each color evoke the French origin of the inks and their refined character. Victor Hugo is said to have used Perle noire ink to write his works.
